Arden's Red Arrows targeting success as British F4 resumes at Snetterton

After a frustrating start to the season, Tommy and the Arden team are all looking forward to a successful second half to the season.

The Banbury-based team have seven podiums to date in the category this season, with the focus now shifting to an even stronger second half of the campaign.

Donington Park race-winner Bart Horsten has led the charge for the Red Arrows thus far, with the Australian’s silverware-laden form keeping him in title contention.

Team-mates Tommy Foster and Alex Connor have equal reason to be optimistic, with the pair showing good promise in recent times and the points finishes to back it up.

Undeniably, Foster has had the pace – pole position at Thruxton stands as a highlight of the Cornish racer’s start to life in British F4 – but not quite the luck to bring home headline results so far.

For Connor, there is an added incentive in the Rookie Cup stakes. Having been forced to miss the season-opener due to his age, the 15-year old has since put in ten class podium finishes – including a win – from his twelve races so far to close in on the top three.

The weekend’s competitive action kicks off with that all-important qualifying session at 10:55 on Saturday, ahead of the opening race at 16:25.

Sunday features a double-header, at 12:15 and 16:40, with both races set to enjoy a capacity trackside crowd and extensive coverage on ITV4’s live, free-to-air television coverage.
